London is one of my favorite cities. Honestly, I often consider moving there for a change of scenery. In my opinion, it is very similar to New York but more picturesque. For every neighborhood in London, I can think of a corresponding neighborhood in London. Below are some of my favorite spots to “Do It for the Gram”
1. Covent Garden
Covent Garden is a beautiful hub of restaurants, shops, and architecture. Of all the places in London here’s where I spend the most time. Mainly because thats where my office is but thats, not the point. Christmas time was my favorite time to go because it’s full decorated for the holiday. It’s picturesque at all times.
2. Red Phone Booth
Did you even go to London if you didn’t take a classic phone booth pic? Apparently they’re disappearing so snap one while you can. WARNING they smell terrible.
3. The Underground
I definitely had a whole photoshoot on London’s Underground. The Underground is the cities subway system. Very different from New York’s MTA it’s relatively clean but doesn’t run 24 hours. Cars are colorful and make for great photos. TIP find go late are early and you find it pretty empty. You don’t want to be the asshole tourist standing in someone’s way as they try to scurry off to work.
4. Trafalgar’s Square
Trafalgar’s square is a public square near charing cross filled architecture fountains, people, and entertainment. There are tons of picturesque spots in the square.
5. Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge is one of Londons landmarks. It was built in the late 1800s and crosses the River Thames. It is often confused with the London Bridge which isn’t far from it. However, the Tower bridge is prettier to me. Snuck off on a lunch break to see this beauty. I got back a little late but it was totally worth it. Fun fact one of the card game hustlers on the bridge proposed to me LOLLLL.
6. Peggy Porchens
What’s your favorite place to visit in London? I travel there at least once a year for work and would love to check out some new places suggestions, please!
